Nickel-coated gray iron taper lock bolster with an aluminum insert featuring a broach-cut 0.625" x 0.320" rectangular slot for rectangular blades. Bolster and insert ship loose and are bonded together on assembly.

Assembly & Bonding Guide

• Bond the insert into the bolster first, then bond the blade into the insert
• Always dry-fit the blade before applying adhesive
• Two-part epoxy recommended for strong, gap-filling bond
• Use 20+ minute epoxy for rectangular blades
• Avoid excess epoxy, which can run through the air evacuation hole onto locking threads
• Keep acetone on hand to remove excess glue before it sets
