5/16" Beading & Parting Tool featuring laminated 10V steel bonded to hardened stainless steel, fitted with a removable taper lock bolster. Ideal for beading details and parting cuts in spindle work. Supplied sharpened and ready to use out of the box.

Materials & Construction
- Cutting Edge: Laminated 10V high-carbide steel for maximum edge retention
- Substrate: Heat-treated hardened stainless steel (HRC 45)
- Bolster: Hardened stainless steel removable taper lock bolster
- Lamination: Proprietary vacuum brazing process bonds 10V only where needed at the cutting edge

Sharpening Guide
- Bench Grinders: CBN wheels (180-320 grit) for the best edge. Norton SG Ceramic wheels also work well but wear faster.
- Belt Grinders: 3M Trizact, 3M Cubitron II, or Norton Norax belts produce quality edges.
- Wet Bench Grinders: Effective with supplied wheel; CBN wheels now available for superior results.
- Avoid low-quality aluminum oxide or silicon carbide wheels, which chip the carbides rather than abrading them to a fine edge.
- The laminated construction ensures easy sharpening on all recommended grinding methods.
